Currently, almost half of the garment exports of Guangdong province are done from the private enterprises and they have become the main force in promoting the growth of garment export in the region.
It is learned that Guangdong private clothing exports in 2005 reached US $4.74 billion, 31 times up from 2001. From January to November in 2006, the garment export of these enterprises has reached $12.47 billion, which is 2.2 times higher than last year.
The textile and garment industries in Guangdong Province have successfully shown a healthy growth trend overcoming the unfavorable factors such as trade friction.
It is reported that a large number of export of Guangdong private enterprises are the result of a flexible operating system.
