According to the latest Customs statistics, during January to June this year, exports of Machinery and equipment touched over US $104 billion, an increase of 23.8 percent and high-tech products realized about $152 billion, a rise of 23.9 percent.
Over the same period, export growth of traditional bulk commodities also accelerated. Among them, clothing and its accessories marked $48.31 billion, a boost of 21.7 percent.
Exports of textile yarn, fabrics and manufactured products achieved $25.22 billion, climbing 9.8 percent. Footwear exports realized $11.96 billion, up by 17.2 percent.
