Textile industry output enhances

The latest data from China Textile Industry Association Statistics Center show that the above-scale industrial enterprises achieved the following industrial production from January to June 2007.

Chemical fiber production completed over 1.1 million tons, an increase of 17.89 percent over the same time last year (same as follows).

Among them, production of viscose fiber accumulated 8,44,935 tons, a growth of 20.24 percent.

Synthetic fiber production totaled around one billion tons, a climb of 17.09 percent.

Among synthetic fibers, the cumulative output of nylon fibers 5,00,101 tons, up 17.09 percent.

Polyester fiber output accumulated about nine million tons, a surge of 17.27 percent.

Spandex fiber production totaled 59,778 tons, a rise of 22.30 percent.

Yarn output totaled over nine million tons, up 21.07 percent. Cotton yarn, blended yarn and pure chemical fiber yarn experienced tremendous growth.

Aggregate outputs were around seven million tons, one million tons and 7,21,585 tons, up 22.22 percent, 14.49 percent, and 21.63 percent, respectively.

Cumulative output of fabrics reached about 23 billion meters, up 13.47 percent.

Among them, cotton fabrics totaled over 12 billion meters, up 16.57 percent.

Cotton blended fabrics amounted to around three billion meters, a climb of 6.67 percent.

Chemical fiber cloth cumulated to roughly six billion meters, an increase of 11.91 percent.
