In June 2007, Zhejiang dye industry's industrial output value in current price stood at around 1.4 billion yuan with sales income reaching almost 1.5 billion yuan. Profits and taxes together scored 207.67 million yuan and turnover touched around 148 million yuan.
Total export value represented 477.35 million yuan while dye production amounted to 41,806 tons, intermediates registered 3,543 tons and additives achieved 127 tons.
During the first six month of 2007, Zhejiang's total industrial output value in current price reached almost 8.1 billion yuan, an increase of 26 percent over the same time last year.
Total sales revenue amounted to nearly 8.1 billion yuan, enhancing 37 percent. Profits and taxes totalled about 758 million yuan, showing a rise of 16 percent. This accumulated a profit of around 515 million yuan, a boost of eight percent. Overall export value scored almost 1.8 billion yuan, up eight percent.
From January to June 2007, production of various kinds of dyes accumulated to 2,31,980 tons, showing a climb of 11 percent. Dyes sales totalled 2,26,658 tons, mounting to nine percent. Total dye exports represented 45,324 tons, accounting for 20 percent of the sales proportion, a growth of two percent is apparent, representing 98 percent of production and sales rate.
From January to June 2007, dye intermediates production amounted to 22,707 tons, a drop of 10 percent. Cumulative sales came to 22,286 tons, sliding 10 percent. Exports accumulated 1,598 tons, down 3 percent accounting for seven percent in total sales and indicating 98 percent of production and sales rate.
