Cotton yarn prices remain steady on Nov 5

PTA prices bounced back, ME prices looked firmly up on Monday, November 5. Semi-dull and bright polyester chip and CDP chip prices slightly rose. PET bottle slice price temporarily consolidated and PSF prices climbed.

Acrylic staple fiber 1.5 D × 38mm price fell a little, where as acrylic top 3 D × 102mm price remained unchanged. CPL, nylon 6 slices prices were flat.

VSF price was in correction mode. PET production and marketing state was clearly improved, but factories faced more or less inventory pressures. Most factories are cautious, therefore overall filament market is expected to stay in consolidation for a short time.

Cotton yarn price on the whole was steady, cotton yarn 60s sale slightly increased. Market trade of polyester and viscose yarn, rayon yarn was still small. Demand of polyester 65 / cotton 35 yarn 32s (semi-combed) from downstream was improved.

Pure polyester yarn market was barely steady, but price focus of PSF shifted up, which will give support to the stability of future polyester yarn market.
