Metro Spinning Limited (MSL), one of the leading spinning mills in the country having capacity of producing both 100 percent cotton and combed yarn, held its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM), at Spectra Convention Centre in Dhaka.
The meeting was headed by Al-Haj Abdul Chairman, MSL. All the Board of Directors and shareholders were present during the AGM.
Mohammod Ali Khokon, Managing Director answered to all the queries and questions of the shareholders and performance for the present financial year was discussed here. Board of Directors also expected that in near future also the share holders would hold their supporting hand for the company.
MSL had achieved a total turnover of over Taka 72.56 crore during the financial year, 2006-2007, inspite of the fact that Bangladesh textile sector is going through unfavorable circumstances.
MSL produced yarn is mainly consumed by the local weavers and manufacturers. The company produces good quality yarn has a created a very good rapport for itself through successful marketing.
