Turkiye’s economic confidence index for November 2022 stood at 96.9 after a 0.2 per cent decline from 97.1 in October. The country’s real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.7 per cent and became 101.3 in November compared to the previous month, as per a recent report by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

While consumer confidence index increased by 0.6 per cent and became 76.6, retail trade confidence index increased by 2.1 per cent to reach 121.9 in November from 119.4 in October.

The index is combined by means of a weighted aggregation of sub-indices of seasonally adjusted consumer confidence, real sector, retail trade and other confidence indices.
