American multinational company Amazon has forecast its net sales to range between $138 billion and $143 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2023 (Q3 FY23), marking a potential growth of 9 per cent to 13 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2022. This projection includes an expected favourable impact of around 120 basis points from foreign exchange rates.Moreover, Amazon predicts a significant leap in operating income, forecasting it to be anywhere between $5.5 billion and $8.5 billion. To put this in perspective, the operating income for the third quarter of FY22 was reported at $2.5 billion, the company said in a press release.
