Cao Xinyu, Vice-Chairman, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, said that the textile exports are expected to remain firm, irrespective of international trade disputes.
Xinyu reported that China's exports to the US and Europe most probably continue their climb by around 15 percent.
However, exports to Japan will rise only five percent and those to Hong Kong will stop declining and then begin to rise.
Regions like Eastern Europe are expected to emerge as strong export destinations.
China exported US $115 billion of textiles and garments in 2005.
Country's exported textiles and garments were pegged at $10.18 billion in January 2006, almost 23 percent increase over January 2005.
