Fujian (a province in East China) textile exporters have strengthened efforts to capture markets in the ASEAN, Middle East, Latin America and African countries.
This has helped them increase their textile exports, which saw a growth by 47.8 percent year-on-year to $483 million in January, revealed local customs reports.
However, the province failed to achieve same results in exporting textile to the EU nations and the US markets as quotas imposed by the two super powers.
Textile exports to the United States dropped by 0.67 percent, and exports to the EU saw a slow rise of 16.29 percent.
