Nabard – Kalamandir to impart training promoting cottage industries among tribals

Amulya Sardar, a JMM MLA and CM Murmu, District Development Manager of National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development ( Nabard ), joined hands with Kalamandir, a local NGO, launched skill development programmes for the villagers to stop exodus of tribal population from the East Singhbhum district.
At the Ragrasai Tola of Janumdih village, the participants will be trained in making handicraft items.
Even though large number of families have left the area in search of livelihood, the training programme once completed, the participants will be encouraged to start large-scale production of the items through their own cottage industry.
