Ms Chanda Shroff the founder member of Shrujan – a Gujrat based Kutchi women's organization, gets the Rolex Award for taking the Indian handicraft in the global market.
This is a good news for the Indian handicraft that it will no more remain unobserved in the global marketplace.
Shurajan was started by Chanda Shroff with a group of 30 women with a skill of hand Embroidery. Today more than 3000 women are earning their living through Shrujan.
