Textile Industry in Pakistan is facing a hard-up. There is a sharp decline in the export of textile sector.
According to APTMA spokesman, textile exporters are facing severe competition in the world market. The spinning sector in Pakistan is getting minimal facility from the Government. The dip in the production of yarn is a setback to textile industry.
However, a former Executive Committee member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, emphasises on the value addition to the textile sector, so consequently it can increase the volume of exports.
