Following a move to utilize the global market, the Madhya Pradesh government has jumped forward by posting textiles and handicrafts manufactured in its cottage industries online. The state is celebrating its 50th birthday.
This was a great opportunity to move forward by going online two months back with products of weavers and craftsmen for giving them reach to a large untouched global market, informed Mohini Bhadkamkar, Deputy Resident Commissioner, Government of Madhya Pradesh, MP Information Centre.
The government launched an initiative called www.weafersandcrafts.Com for cottage industries of textiles and handicrafts, which deserve a greater market to sell their products.
This initiative includes potential buyers, who could get all information of textiles and artefacts online by visiting the official website of state, added Mohini Bhadkamkar.
