Acotex cites textile sales to climb 7.5% in winter sales period

Spanish textile sales are anticipated to climb 7.5 percent in the winter sales period, citing figures from textile association Acotex.
Shoppers, from early January, will be in position to gain advantage of discounts that come on top of a 4 percent fall in prices in multi-brand stores and a 1.5 percent drop in store chains during the normal selling period.
Expected winter sales would account for 20 percent of total annual sales.
