Bremen cotton market stable last week

Since the U.S. has got around the “fiscal cliff” for now, the New York cotton futures have recovered again; and also the indexes of Cotlook as well as of the Bremen Cotton Exchange have remained on a stable level.

The reported week was still influenced by the expiring holidays and organizational jobs for the annual statement in many spinning companies.

Except for single contracts for near dates, the purchase interest was just as limited as the week before, since coverage has appeared to be adequate for the time being.

Cotton from Central Asia was sold for prompt as well as the 1st quarter 2013.
