Syria's textile export generated more than $96 million worth of revenue for the year 2005, informed Director General of the Syrian General Institution of Spinning Materials, in a statement.
Revenue for the year 2005 reported an increase of about two millions compared to the year 2004, said Dr. Jamal al-Omar.
Syria's domestic sales for the year 2005 recorded SP 21 billion, which was about SP 3 billion more compared to the previous year, he said.
