Sicily hosts Mediterranean Economic Forum

A group of renowned businessmen and officials represent Morocco at the first Mediterranean Economic Forum that started on Monday, February 20 2006, at Palermo, Sicily.

Hassan Chami, President, General Confederation of Moroccan Firms (CGEM), heads the Moroccan delegation that includes officials of the domain of economics and representatives of 15 companies active in food industry, training, tourism, and textile.

This conference is aspires to boost regional co-operation and investment opportunities between Italy and other nations.

Other countries participating in this forum include Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Malta and Tunisia.
