Northern China's biggest textile base starts operations

The Light and Textile Industrial City of Jingjin International Commercial and Trading Port (JJSMG), Northern China's biggest textile base having a total investment of CNY16 billion, kicked off operations officially on March 30.
Same day, this textile base officially inked a purchase agreement with a well known clothing city Hebei Rong in Beijing.
The base's demand for weaving material is almost CNY55 billion per year.
Combined with Northern China regions like Shandong and Liaoning, the demand will climb up to CNY100 billion, growing at 20 percent, year on year.
This establishes the fact that a weaving material purchase union having annual demand of CNY100 billion, established in Hebei Province, has been formed officially.
The town is a aggregation of transaction revelation, technological research and development, logistic and distribution, information promotion and integrated accessories. Light Textile Town has a total construction area about 371 acres.
First stage of construction is about 89 acres and Light Textile Town will be selling raw material, surface material, apparel complement material, textile machine and etc.
Relying on the strong textile industry foundation of Tianjin, it is estimated that the need for textile will be close to 100 billion RMB and the town is projected to become biggest fortune making platform for the textile industry of China.
