In other developments, the TMP has commissioned a New York-based creative agency to produce the brand strategy for the fall marketing campaign. The agency, again unidentified at this stage for reasons of commercial confidentiality, was selected for its creativity, agility, value for money and proximity to the North American market.

The TMP was founded in October 2005 when three peak wool industry bodies – Australian Wool Innovation Ltd, the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) and Australian Wool Services (AWS/Woolmark) – joined forces and contributed US$6.6 million in funding and resources for a ground-breaking project to identify those manufacturers, retailers and end consumers who will stimulate demand for fine and superfine wool apparel.
