EUObserver declares that the European Commission has announced plans to improve the much criticized way the EU approves biotech crops into the bloc, in an attempt to regain the confidence of its 25 member states.
The plan "is crucial to increase the confidence in the rules that apply to GMO approval," said a commission spokeswoman on Wednesday (12 April).
