Ms. Malmstrom is the co-author of The Man With The Key Is Not Here - A Key To What They Really Mean In China, a guide to communications issues in China. She has published numerous articles in the Chinese and English press in China and globally. She is a long-time active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
In 1979, Ms. Malmstrom graduated cum laude in Asian Studies and Geography from Middlebury College. She continued in executive education at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Luzern, Switzerland, and at St. Gallens Management Center, also located in Switzerland.
The Washington, DC-based CCI, which is the National Cotton Council's export promotions arm, is dedicated to increasing U.S. exports of cotton, cottonseed and U.S.-manufactured products.
CCI's mission is to increase exports of U.S. cotton, cottonseed and U.S. manufactured cotton products through activities that affect every phase of the marketing chain -- from the initial mill buyer of cotton fiber or purchaser of U.S. cotton-rich yarns and fabrics on through to the final consumer.
