KwaZulu-Natal Legislature's (KZN) homage to departed Sactwu leader Zikhali

John Zikhali, leader of Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers Union (Sactwu) had extended practically inestimable involvement towards the struggle of working class and aptly, the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature (KZN)paid high tribute for his contributions.
Untimely demise of Zikhali is not only a loss to his family, but to the entire labour movement and the world as a whole, said the Speaker Willies Mchunu, in the assembly.
Mchunu expressed revolutionary condolences to all members of his family, friends, comrades and the entire working class.
Zikhali died in a car accident which hit a tanker on the N3 near Town Hill, Pietermaritzburg.
He lived by the doctrine, "organize or starve."
Mchunu said that everybody was saddened due to the untimely loss of a great humanitarian, workers' leader and a deep fountain of human courage, dedication and perseverance.
