The Industrial Fabrics Foundation (IFF) announces the first Golf Tournament fundraiser at the Heritage Golf Club in Tucker.
Funds raised from this tournament will go towards the annual scholarships IFF provides as well as financially supporting industry research projects.
This event offers a great opportunity to play golf while contributing to a great cause.
The tournament will be held Oct. 30, 2006, the day prior to the start of IFAI Expo 2006. Golf cart rental and lunch are included in the golf fee. An awards ceremony will take place immediately following the tournament at the golf course, where tournament winners will be announced and presented with great awards.
“I am very excited about the tournament,” says Beth Hungiville, IFF Managing Director. “It is a great opportunity to raise funds for the worthy causes IFF supports. This tournament marks the beginning of a new annual IFF tradition.”
Located only minutes from downtown Atlanta , the course is considered one of Georgia's most acclaimed golf courses and features 27 spectacular holes. The greens are built around a 20-acre lake, featuring elevated, tiered greens on each hole, tree-lined fairways, and generous landing areas.
There will be many opportunities for tournament sponsorships, including providing transportation, hole sponsorship, shirts, million dollar hole-in-one, putting contest, and much more. The very popular mulligans will be sold at the Heritage Golf Club the day of the tournament.
The IFF is a not-for-profit trade association. The mission of the Industrial Fabrics Foundation is to engage in research regarding industrial fabrics; to educate the public and provide information regarding industrial fabrics; and, to engage in all other charitable educational activity approved by the board of directors.
