International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) announces registration for the 65th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) since 1939 is underway. Participants are encouraged to register at www.ICAC.org website.
The meeting will be held during September 11-15, 2006 in Goiania, Goias, Brazil.
The venue for the meeting will be the International Convention Center in Goiania.
The Government of Brazil in cooperation with the Brazilian cotton industry will host the meeting.
The theme of the 65th Plenary Meeting is The Social and Environmental Impacts of Cotton Production and Use.
This theme will provide an opportunity for constructive evaluation of the impacts of cotton production and consideration of better management practices that lead to improved social and environmental conditions.
