iOM Retailigence solution for Sri Lanka Handicraft Board

iOM Sri Lanka has clinched the deal to deliver and execute 'Retailigence' to the Sri Lanka Handicraft Board, Laksala.

iOM Sri Lanka is one of Asia's IT key providers that supply a hefty and rising global client base.

Retailigence, the end-to-end answer for average to large-scale retail and delivery channels, is vastly scalable and offers integration with financial and enterprise solutions.

In providing an absolute, integrated information services infrastructure on a single database, Retailigence deals with decisive issues of system stability and security. The assignment is programmed for completing within seven months.

Manju Haththotuwa, CEO, ICTA said, that the Laksala has been chosen as one of the chief projects under the Services initiative on account of its soaring impact and visibility to both the society and trade.

The intention of Laksala is to sponsor and protect the Sri Lankan handicrafts industry.

Laksala sustains Sri Lankan craftsmen by giving them with openings and livelihood by buying and selling their items. Laksala also provides design thoughts as well as craftsmen skill improvement ideas through its National Craft Council and National Design Centers.

Permiting Laksala to re-engineer their businesses and processes to be successful and adept by means of the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in this competitive market, it will also allow it to maintain the endurance and development of many of Sri Lanka's craftsmen and their art.
