Philadelphia Uni to add New B.S. Degree in Textile Engineering Technology

Textile courses include survey of the textile industry, yarn engineering, survey of the apparel industry, weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing, nonwovens, textile materials and textile costing. Business courses will include information systems, statistics, principles of management, financial management, economics and business law. In addition to its academic components, the new program is designed to educate and graduate well-rounded individuals who possess the technical, educational and social competence to succeed at multiple levels in the future, including professional practice, advanced education, and responsible citizenship.
