Other members of this distinguished group include Mathew Ngau Jau, a bark cloth painter and an accomplished sapeh player who has been invited to perform throughout Asia, Europe and North America and Bangie ak Embol and Nancy anak Ngali, both master weavers whose “dream weavings” have been awarded the UNESCO Craft Seal of Excellence.
This is the first in a series of free Global Awareness Cultural Events created to celebrate and promote an awareness and understanding of the diverse cultures that continue to exist in the 21st century.
