Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) will sponsor Needlepunch 2006, the only conference in the world devoted to all aspects of needlepunch technology – from raw materials and equipment to finished products – is scheduled for October 17-19, 2006 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This three-day event will provide insight into the latest technologies, fabrics, equipment, materials and applications that comprise this specialized engineered fabric segment of the industry.
With needlepunch end product consumers such as Ford Motor Co. and Nissan and associated groups such as ASHRAE, CPSC and UL Labs on the scheduled line-up of speakers, the program will address such varied topics as Automotives, Home Furnishings, Wipes, Geotextiles, Military, Protective Apparel and Medical.
In addition, Industry Topics to be discussed include Fiber/Fabric Treatments, Fire Retardancy, Meltblown/Spunlace, Market Trends, Novel Fibers (PLA, PPA, Holo-Fiber), “Green” Auto Interiors, Alternative Technologies, Nanofibers and Natural Fibers.
Needlepunch 2006 is organized by the INDA Needlepunch Conference Planning Committee, which is comprised of a host of suppliers to the needlepunch industry.
Among the companies scheduled to make presentations at Needlepunch 2006 are Agion, ASHRAE, CPSC, Filtration Group, Finetex, Ford Motor Co., GE Advanced Materials, Glo-Tex International, Hatch, Inc., ISPA, Lydall, Nanofiber Technologies, NATICK , Nicolan, Nissan, PCI, Reiter Automotive, Sealy, UL Labs and Wellman.
In addition to the full slate of speakers, Table-Top Displays will allow needlepunch suppliers to highlight their products to attendees during the evening networking receptions.
Registration fees are $625 for INDA members prior to September 15 ($750 after September 15) and $875 for non-members ($1050 after September 15).
