United States Chamber of Commerce made an interesting proposal for Turkey, which was demanding concessions for its commercial interests with US as Senior Trade Advisor Leslie Schweitzer urged them to explore sectors such as organic farming, furnishing and construction.

While Schweitzer hailed the Turkish businessmen for their efforts in textile sector, she added that China through its assertive strategy had sharply increased its share in US textile market.

She reasoned that since ready wear market in US had declined, businessmen from Turkey should explore new sectors by adopting fresh commercial strategies.

She said this on the sidelines of seminar sponsored by Turkish Associations and Stock Markets Union (TOBB) and the US Chamber of Trade held in Kayseri between July, 13-14.
