Textile and Apparel Association, (Vitas) announced that exports of textile and apparel goods from Vietnam to Canada gained development in recent time.
During the first half of 2006, total exports revenue to this market reached $44.8 million, posted 54 percent compared with last year's correspondent period.
Sharp growth is seen in most of the goods categories.
Besides the US, Canada is the biggest importing market of Vietnamese apparel goods and expected to develop more in the coming times.
