As per the report of the MEPZ SEZ, garments and textile sector, which is second major segment within the zone has performed well in the first two months.
Export performance of the sector has gone up by about 9.03% to touch Rs 55.50 crore compared to Rs 50.90 crore in the same period previous year.
Of this, ready-made garments segment has contributed to the tune of Rs 52.02 crore (Rs 49.06 crore).
