U.S. Census Bureau announced that the combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers' shipments for June, adjusted for seasonal and trading-day differences but not for price changes, was estimated at $1,061.6 billion, up 0.2 percent (±0.1 percent) from May and up 8.6 percent (±0.4 percent) from June 2005.
US Census Bureau for Inventories are as follows: Manufacturers' and trade inventories adjusted for seasonal variations but not for price changes were estimated at an end-of-month level of $1,339.2 billion, up 0.8 percent (±0.1 percent) from May and up 6.3 percent (±0.3 percent) from June 2005.
Inventories/Sales Ratio: The total business inventories/sales ratio based on seasonally adjusted data at the end of June was 1.26. The June 2005 ratio was 1.29.
