Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong announces that the Committee on Bid Invitation for Quantitative Limits of Textile Exports of the Ministry of Commerce (the Committee) issued a notice on 18 August 2006, announcing the list of enterprises failing to submit bid deposit for the second bidding exercise on quantitative limits for textile exports to the European Union and the United States in 2006.
The enterprises concerned will have to forfeit the quantitative limits for textile exports won in the second bidding exercise and be disqualified in future bid invitations in 2006 and 2007 for the categories concerned.
