SPINEXPO targets promotion in non-Asian countries

The 8th session of SPINEXPO – Shanghai, exhibition specialising in the sectors of fibres, yarns for knitwear, weaving and knitted fabrics, knitwear and knitted fabrics, creative knitwear machinery was held at shanghai International Conference Centre 30-31 August/1st September 2006.

This session was a step forward in the life of the exhibition with a targeted promotion in non Asian countries, and in particular USA, South America and Europe.

The show also intensified its communication in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and controlled more tightly its marketing in China, focusing on companies with a buying potential and eliminating from its data base all companies seeking only information.

SPINEXPO – Shanghai is glad to have cooperated with Shanghai Italian Trade Commission in backing up its action to put forward the quality and creativity of its spinning industry at a time where Italy is honoured as the chosen commercial partner country by China in 2006.

With 8225 visitors, a rise of 5% compared with the previous session, SPINEXPO-Shanghai strengthened its position as THE Fibres & Yarns business show” becoming an obligatorily meeting event for textile companies from all over the world.

The number of garments manufacturers and trading companies is in constant rise since the launching of the show, hosting world-renown brands such as Zara or MaxMara, Kenzo or Denbenhams, Liz Claiborne or Donna Karan, Itokin or World.
