Retail marketing experts to speak at RAMA Regional Conference

The Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA), a division of the National Retail Federation, will hold its inaugural Regional Conference on Wednesday, October 11 at the Columbus College of Art & Design.
The conference's theme, “Love What You Do,” will give attendees insights from marketing professionals on how to excel in their profession.
The half-day event is open to senior-level marketing, creative and advertising professionals and their teams as well as students in retail marketing, creative and advertising.
Opening Address: Curtis Zimmerman, President, The Character Institute Wednesday, October 11, 1:00 p.m. Zimmerman's presentation will empower, challenge, and change attendees by giving them the tools, and the confidence, to truly live their lives at performance level.
He will explore how attendees can create their own destiny by understanding how everyday reactions and perspectives shape their world.
Mike Boylson, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, JCPenney Wednesday, October 11, 2:00 p.m. As the Chief Marketing Officer for one of America's largest department store, catalog and online retailers, Mike Boylson knows what it takes to survive in the retail marketing world. Boylson started his career at JCPenney in 1978 and has been there ever since.
He began as a Selling Specialist and worked his way up as a Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Business Planning Manager, Catalog Media Manager and the Vice President and Director of Marketing Planning and Promotions.
