Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) reported that Vietnam's textile and apparel exports turnover for entire 2006 is expected to earn around US $5.6-$5.8 billion, as figures of the first nine months this year totaled to almost $4.8 billion.
From January to September this year, average revenue per month from exports stood at over $500 million and is expected to grow steadily in the year–end months.
Out of exporting markets, US remained biggest partner, which always makes up 50 percent of entire exports turnover, followed by EU and Japan.
The Vitas forecast also reveals that in 2007 Vietnam would earn from $6.4 to $6.6 billion from exports the goods, as the US abolish export quota mechanism on the Vietnamese goods as commitment in WTO playground.
