Hi-Tech & skilled labor to aid Vinatex meet targets

In a recent visit to Vietnam Textile and Apparel Group–Vinatex, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung offered advices to help Vinatex achieve its targets in period 2006–2010 and toward 2020, officials from Ministry of industry-MOI said.

Sinh Hung urged textile and apparel industry to enhance training of high–skilled labor forces working in the industry, carry out innovation in technology applications as well as apply advanced technology lines of the world in order for producing high–quality goods with strong trade marks.

On the other hand, Nguyen Sinh Hung told Vinatex to develop more textile raw materials industries, such as centralized areas of cotton plants where high yield and quality cotton materials would be produced to satisfy domestic demand, constructing the garment materials centers aross the country so as to minimize ratio of imported materials in domestic productions.

Furthermore, Hung agreed on principle that a Vietnam Textile and Apparel Institute would be established in near future, to develop the industry in situation of increasing international and regional integration.
