The ideal combination of Heimtextil India (Home fashion) and Texworld India (Apparel fabrics and accessories) provided the right impulses to the textile industry who arrived in Mumbai to make contacts and do business.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Detlef Braun, Managing Director and Member of the Board of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, said, “With this move Messe Frankfurt has unleashed the powerhouse of Indian textiles unto the global arena. India is an incredible textile country not only with its textile tradition but also with its depth of products, creativity and quality, and this was unabashedly evident at Textile Days India.”
“We have been present at many textile shows around the world but were stunned by the sheer beauty and transparency of the products, the high quality exhibitors, the optimism of the industry and the excellent organisation of the event. It was classy and stylish, and showed off the strengths of the Indian textile industry to the fullest."
"This was a fantastic eye - opener for us, and we will be back next year with a Portuguese pavilion”, said Alfredo Rezenze, President of ASM, Portugal, who with members of his delegation, were able to interact with Indian market leaders at the highest level.
