The Ministry of Commerce promulgated the "Export Quota Level for Agricultural, Industrial and Silk Products in 2007" on 30 October 2006, which stipulates that the application period is 1-15 November 2006.

Its logo is developed from the Chinese character, which means mutual that symbolizes the mutual benefits derived from the dynamic interaction of international trade as well as the partnership between the Department and the trade and industry in maximizing Hong Kong's access to the global market.
