"Monday was probably one of the most exciting days we have had in a very, very long time." Agnès Elisabelar, Export Manager for Espace Textile and Organizer of the French Pavilion agrees. "The show has been great. Monday was supposed to be a quiet day and the exhibitors were pleased by how busy it was."

The CMC hosted an extensive trend galleria in the Main Lobby showcasing garments designed by Claire Joseph using Alexander Henry fabrics, as well as garments from Robert Kaufman using RK fabrics.

"There have been a lot of people who saw our fabric display in the lobby and came up to see if it was available. Overall, I think the display really helped drive traffic to our showroom," said Miho Tsukimura of Alexander Henry Fabrics Inc.

The LA Textile Show welcomed 14 new and returning Korean exhibitors this October. Johnny J. Jung, CEO of Hain International Corporation was overall very pleased with the show. "The LA International Textile Show has been good for us. We have seen a lot of designers and customers and we are very happy. This has been a good opportunity for us to show Korean fabrics and new developments to the US market."

Susan Heller, from Renaissance Buttons and Blue Moon Button Art adds, "As usual it's been a great show for us because it introduces us to a variety of new people from new, niche designers to larger companies."

"Also, we have done this show since the beginning and I love the new format in the Penthouse." Hal Kaltman summed up this year's October show the best, "I'm excited and I think this show is a huge success. This could turn out to be one of the best shows in a long time."
