Last ten days have seen many changes in cotton prices in the country as on November 16, prices were Rs2385 per month; on the next day, prices climbed up and reached Rs2400 per maund. This trend lasted for some days until on November 21, when prices increased to Rs2425 per maund.
This upward trend continuous and today the cotton prices have settled on Rs2450 per maund, according to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA).
More than 18000 cotton bales changed hands at several stations with prices fluctuating between Rs2525 and Rs2350 per maund.
