Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong announces that the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 93/2006 on 12 December 2006, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of wear resistant overlay from the United States and the European Union.
The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 4804 3900.
Anti-Dumping Measure
The ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding the investigated products originated in the United States and the European Union, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry.
As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 4.1 percent to 42.8 percent on imports of wear resistant overlay from the above regions.
The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 13 December 2006.
