Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (Lefaso) estimated footwear export turnover to US to be 40 percent of total export turnover of Vietnam for 2006, official sources informed.
The export turnover to US for 2006 is expected to reach $3.45 to $3.55 billion, surpassing current year's target of $3.4 billion.
On the basis of the expected growth, exports of Vietnam can see more opportunities for expansion, being mainly remained reliable on EU markets before antidumping duty.
