Johanns to address NCC' Beltwide Cotton Conferences next year

In the opening session of 2007 Beltwide Cotton Conferences on January 10, organized every year by the National Cotton Council (NCC), Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns will be giving an important speech. Event will be held in New Orleans.
Beltwide is organized in different parts of the US and has repute of being a top info exchange event. Former Nebraska Governor and notary Johanns will be the first secretary to address the conference in many years.
Opening session will be started by NCC Chairman Allen Helms who is also a cotton producer in Clarkedale. Beltwide will include presentations like assessment of cotton's role in bio-fuels, debate on irrigation methods and suggestions for farming with high input costs.
