Get ready for spring with a special shopping event at The Textile Museum this weekend!
Join Meena Tharmaratnam, founder and owner of Ibhana Creations, on Saturday, March 10 at 2:00 pm for a special talk on the history and design of paisley shawls. Following the discussion, enjoy the opportunity to purchase unique items from her spring collection.
Meena began bringing pashmina shawls to the United States from her native India in 2002 so her American friends could see the high quality textiles India offered.
Shortly thereafter, she founded Ibhana Creations to share unique textiles and other items from India with a wider population.
Ibhana's collection includes exquisite cashmere shawls, hand-embroidered cashmere and silk jackets, and other beautiful items.
