We are pleased to inform you that CII is organizing signing of the MoU between CII and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) with CII's Affirmative Action Plan for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes on 2nd April at 1630 hrs at Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Room No. 168, Udyog Bhavan.
The signing of the MoU will happen in the presence of Hon'ble Shri Mahabir Prasad, Minister of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries.
Key Speakers are: Mr. Pravir Kumar, Joint Secretary (SSI), Ministry of Small Scale Industries; Dr. Dinesh Awasthi, Director, EDI; Mr. Bipin Shah, Faculty, EDI and Lt. Gen. S S Mehta, Director General, CII.
The CII Affirmative Action Plan, inter alia, aims at the creation of hundred entrepreneurs from the SC / ST category in the first year of its operation. As per the Memorandum, CII will fund the training of 200 potential entrepreneurs, while EDI will carry out the training and facilitate enterprise establishment.
