Since 1895 the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the premier business association of the country, has been working to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry and society in India.
At the time when economic growth is set to touch the double digit, its time, we give a thought on the role clarity of this apex industry association.
To understand the role CII needs to play in providing a fillip to the Indian Economy, Confederation of Indian Industry (Northern Region) is organising its Annual Meeting on the theme “India in Challenging Times: Role of CII” on 11th April at 1130 hrs at Hotel Maurya Sheraton, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi.
The Inaugural session will be addressed by Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar, Minister for Panchayati Raj, Sports and Youth Affairs at 1145 hrs.
Mr. R Seshasayee, President, CII; Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, Vice President, CII and Chairman & Group Managing Director, Bharti Airtel Ltd; Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Past President, CII and Chairman Hero Corporate Service Ltd, Mr Gautam Thapar, Chairman Ballarpur Industries Ltd, Mr. Arun Maira, Chairman, The Boston Consulting Group; Mr Adesh Gupta, Chairman, CII (NR); Mr. Deep Kapuria, Deputy Chairman, CII (NR); Mr T N Ninan, Editor in Chief & Publisher, Business Standard Ltd, and Mr Suhel Seth, Managing Partner, Counselage India, will also address the Session.
