International training programme is a regular feature of SITRA's training activity since 1974 and more than 1400 persons from 70 countries have benefited out of this training over the years. The programme of two months duration is held twice a year during the months of July-August and November-December.
The participants attending these programmes are sponsored by the Ministries of External Affairs and Economic Affairs, Government of India‚ under the sponsoring schemes, viz Indian Technical and Economic Co-operation Plan (ITEC)‚ Special Commonwealth African Assistance Plan(SCAAP) and Colombo Plan.
The following 3 different programmes are conducted:
• Textile Mill Management
• Textile Testing and Quality Control
• Personnel Management
