For implementation of various Schemes under the North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy, 2007 a sum of Rs.89.99 crore has been earmarked during the current financial year.
Since NEIIPP, 2007 has been announced only a month and a half ago, no funds have been sanctioned under it so far.
The 'North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (NEIIPP), 2007' for industrial development in the North Eastern Region including Sikkim has been announced on 1.4.2007. A copy of the Policy is placed below.
